Your resume says you're ready. Does your voice?

Placement season tests how you think out loud. You get one shot at a GD, one shot at a PI, and nobody tells you afterwards what actually went wrong. duCharcha measures it, session by session, so you know before the room does.

  1. Karan I'll start. Remote work cuts the commute, so people actually get more done.
  2. Meera But juniors learn by watching seniors. You can't overhear a good client call on Zoom.
  3. Rohit Building on Meera's point, promotions still go to whoever is seen in the office.
  4. Sana That's a management problem, not a remote work problem.
  5. Aisha Can I come in here? Companies are already calling people back three days a week.

Your Career DNA

After each session, duCharcha analyses how you spoke: your argument structure, delivery, clarity and consistency. It builds a profile across twelve behavioural signals and maps it to the industries you are targeting.

  • See your strongest signals, the ones that fluctuate, and the ones with no data yet
  • Track how each one moves across sessions, not just once
  • Matched to 32 dream jobs across law, tech, sales, media and finance

Career DNA covers soft skills only. It is an algorithmic estimate from your speaking, not an assessment of domain or technical knowledge, and not a credential.

Questions

What is duCharcha?

duCharcha is a mobile app that scores how job-ready you sound. You speak, either with an AI sparring partner or with real people, and it builds a Career DNA report on your communication, reasoning and delivery, mapped to the industry you are targeting. It is built for students and young professionals in India. It does not assess technical or domain knowledge.

What is Career DNA?

Career DNA is a behavioural profile built from how you speak across sessions. It analyses argument structure, delivery, clarity and consistency, tracks twelve signals over time, and shows which are strongest, which fluctuate and which have no data yet. It is an algorithmic estimate of soft skills, not a credential.

Can I use duCharcha for GD and PI preparation?

Yes. Group discussions and personal interviews both test how you think out loud under pressure, which is what duCharcha measures. You can practise alone with Vilom, run a group session with up to six speakers and a judge, or take on a stranger live.

Do I need another person to practise?

No. Vilom is an AI sparring partner available at any time. It argues the other side and pushes back on weak reasoning, so you can practise at 2am with nobody else online.

Is duCharcha free?

Yes, to start. The free tier includes 10 Charchas and 10 Career DNA analyses. Paid plans add more sessions and deeper job-role coverage.

How is my speaking actually scored?

Your audio is transcribed and analysed for argument structure, delivery, pace, clarity and consistency. Those feed twelve behavioural signals, which are weighted against the requirements of the industry you selected. Scores update after each session rather than from a single test.

What happens to my audio?

Audio is recorded during sessions for AI analysis only, processed securely, and never shared without consent.

Is duCharcha on Android and iOS?

Yes, on both Google Play and the App Store.

Can a college use duCharcha for its placement cell?

Yes. Group sessions support up to six speakers and a judge, with a faculty or club lead hosting, and each participant receives their own report. Write to Support@ducharcha.com.
